Harpeth Wings Meetings
We meet on the 4th Saturday of the month at Shoney’s, 1306 Murfreesboro Road (TN 96), Franklin. That's just west of I-65 at Exit 65. We eat breakfast starting at 9:00 a.m. followed by our meeting at 10:00 a.m., then we often enjoy a chapter ride. Newcomers are always welcome, even if you have some other bike. You need not be a member of GWRRA to attend, but we hope you will join us at some point.
April 16 we rode to Ashland City for lunch at the Marina Restaurant; beautiful day and great ride. After our April meeting we rode to Mount Pleasant Grille along some country roads lined with blooming trees and a few spring flowers. Some of us had a light lunch, but we all tried their famous home-made ice cream. The following Tuesday our Couple of the Year visited Chapter T in Powell and captured the COY plaque. Then came Spring Fling in Pigeon Forge with warm weather, good vendors, and lots of fun activities. On May 14th we rode to Chapter V in Chattanooga and returned home via the scenic route through McMinnville and other interesting towns. Chilly, but still a great ride. For details and photos visit our Facebook page.
Our next meeting is scheduled for May 28th. We do have the COY plaque to give away. Hope to see you there!
